Australian Design and Manufacture
3 SunCube™ units in operation tracking the sun.
About the SunCube™ Appliance:
After many years of research and
continuous development the SunCube™ is now ready to be launched onto the
Australasian market.
Zolar Distributors will have product available the second half of 2008 and
will now actively begin manufacturing, marketing and promoting in the
Australasian area.
The SunCube™ uses industry leading Emcore triple junction cell receiver
assemblies. This state of the art cell technology is approximately 38%
efficient and able to produce excellent power when combined with the
innovative design of the SunCube™.
Zolar has identified many markets for the SunCube™ use. These include
domestic house holds, commercial buildings, shopping centres, schools, stand
alone power, outback communities and dwellings, small and large solar farms,
community farms. The SunCube™ is adaptable to all these applications and
much more.
The SunCube™, because of its simple rugged construction 3mm aluminium
casing, can be used in a variety of circumstances and will provide power
solutions to previously difficult sites. From a single mounted SunCube™ up
to hundreds and thousands in a solar farm.
Warranty for the SunCube™ is industry leading with 3 years limited warranty,
plus a 20 year limited warranty on the cell to lose less than 1% efficiency
per year for 20 years.
Another outstanding feature of the SunCube™ is its stowing position
overnight. The unit goes to a position of about 15% past centre this allows
excess dust and material to fall off the lenses and any rain can still fall
on the lens which will help keep it clean. |
